Commercial Refrigeration Installer

Our client is seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Installer to join their team in Kimberley. This position is key to ensuring the successful installation and setup of refrigeration systems for businesses, including restaurants, supermarkets, and food service establishments. You will be responsible for the complete installation process, from handling the equipment to final system checks, ensuring functionality and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is proficient in commercial refrigeration mechanics, understands relevant building codes, and is committed to delivering reliable service throughout the Northern Cape.

• Install commercial refrigeration units, such as walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and ice machines.
• Perform all necessary electrical, plumbing, and mechanical connections for refrigeration systems.
• Ensure installations are performed according to manufacturer guidelines, design specifications, and local codes.
• Conduct thorough system checks, leak tests, and performance evaluations post-installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related problems or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation reports and service logs.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Installer or technician.
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration principles, components, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and installation manuals.
• Proficiency in using refrigeration tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to installation and repair.
• Relevant trade certification or qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning is required.
