Senior Field Service Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to serve their customers in and around Kimberley . This pivotal role involves traveling to client sites to perform complex installations, maintenance, and repairs on specialized equipment. You will act as a key technical resource, providing expert support and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position offers a blend of on-site responsibilities and opportunities for remote support and documentation, leveraging your expertise to maintain and enhance the performance of critical systems.

• Perform advanced installations, commissioning, and configuration of equipment at customer locations.
• Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and repairs for complex technical issues.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to clients, resolving issues efficiently.
• Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment longevity.
• Mentor and assist junior technicians in the field and potentially through remote guidance.
• Maintain detailed service reports, manage parts inventory, and communicate effectively with internal teams.

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Field Service Technician, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret intricate technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
