Behavior Intervention Assistant
A Behavior Intervention Assistant position is available in Soquel Union Elementary School District. Job duties may include working with small groups, working 1:1 with children, implementing behavior support plans, and providing support for the classroom teacher with prepping materials, etc. Please also see job description for additional information. Under general direction, perform a variety of instructional and clerical activities for students with emotional, educational, physical or behavioral problems.
Receive supervision from the school administrator within a framework of standard policies and procedures. Receive direction from the classroom teacher; tutor under guidelines of classroom teacher; assist in the conduct of intensified learning experiences related to students with special needs served by the special education program; make routine decisions within the established policies and procedures of the classroom and the district.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS Applicants must complete a classified Ed-join application. Applicants are responsible for having letters of reference forwarded prior to the Final date to receive applications. Applicants will be notified ONLY if being considered for interview.
