Credit Solutions Advisor - 41st & Capitola

Responsibilities

• Originates loans for residential mortgage needs and serves as the primary lending specialist in the financial center.
• Delivers First Mortgage and HELOC lending products in person or by telephone and offers other products such as Auto Loans, Credit Cards and Core Banking services.
• Balances sales performance, operational risk, and client relationship care throughout the loan process.
• Provides specialized and personalized service, advising clients on borrowing and banking options at each stage of their life plan.
• Builds and deepens relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging full bank capabilities.
• Analyzes clients’ financial needs and recommends best‑suited financial services.
• Presents potential home lending solutions, submits mortgage applications, assists clients with supporting documentation, and keeps clients informed via calls, email, and online messaging.
• Conducts outreach, pipeline management, and consistent follow‑up to meet client needs.
• Responds to client requests and refers to appropriate internal partners.
• Collaborates with financial center leaders and managers to coach associates on exceptional client experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience or equivalent experience demonstrating assessment of client needs, leadership, trust building, and consultative sales.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients in person and over the phone.
• Critical thinking and ability to analyze financial and credit data to advise clients on product and pricing policies.
• Excellent customer service skills and end‑to‑end client experience management.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, adapt to changing circumstances, and manage time and priorities.
• Strong work ethic, dedication, enthusiasm, and performance orientation.
• Willingness to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
• Team player with collaborative mindset, translating knowledge into strong internal and external relationships.
• Commitment to professional ethics and compliance with all federal and state regulations, including SAFE Act background checks.

• Experience working in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded.
• Knowledge of complex financial data analysis and provision of financial alternatives.
• Understanding of banking products and services.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience in a loan originator role in a retail environment and knowledge of mortgage products (Conventional, Jumbo, HELOC, Government), structuring, processing, underwriting, and closing procedures, FHA and HUD guidelines.
• Experience with other lending products (Credit Card, Vehicle loans).
• Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, laptops).

Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Hours per week: 40

Hourly pay range: $26.00 - $30.83, based on experience, education, and skill set.

Formulaic incentive eligible. Employees may earn monthly, quarterly, and/or annual incentives based on performance metrics.
