We're looking for a working shop foreman who can lead our technicians, drive shop productivity, and handle advanced diagnostics. Tops wages for the right candidate, $40 an hour plus.
This is a leadership position inside a high-volume, well-established GM service department backed by the strength of the Chris Auffenberg Auto Group.
About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced shop foreman/technician to oversee our busy auto service department. In this key leadership role, you'll manage daily workflow, mentor technicians, ensure repair quality, and help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do- Lead daily shop workflow & dispatch support
- Perform advanced diagnostics & difficult repairs
- Mentor and train technicians & apprentices
- Ensure repair quality & proper GM procedures
- Support service advisors with estimates & timelines
- Maintain shop productivity, safety & morale
- 5+ years automotive technician experience
- GM experience strongly preferred
- GM certifications or ASE certifications a plus
- Leadership/foreman experience preferred
- Strong electrical & drivability diagnostic ability
- Valid driver's license
