Full-Time Hospital-Employed Level II Trauma
BAS Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) to join a large, not-for-profit, physician-led health system serving communities across Southern Illinois . This opportunity offers excellent compensation, visa support, and the ability to practice in multiple well-supported emergency departments throughout the region.
J-1 and H-1B visa candidates are welcome.
Position HighlightsEmergency Medicine Full Spectrum
12 shifts per month
Compensation: $265 $ 285 per hour
Hospital-employed
Level II Trauma Center exposure
Practice across multiple facilities within the system
Physicians will provide coverage across several emergency departments within the system, including:
A 162-bed regional referral center with approximately 36,000 ED visits annually
A 114-bed community hospital with approximately 30,000 ED visits annually
A 77-bed not-for-profit community hospital with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including telestroke and teleneurology
A 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with approximately 8,000 ED visits annually
Clinical resources include:
24-hour hospitalist programs
Accredited Chest Pain Centers and STEMI programs
Primary Stroke Centers
Advanced imaging (CT, MRI, PET/CT, interventional radiology, ACR-certified ultrasound)
Comprehensive neuroscience and cardiovascular services
Inpatient behavioral health services at select locations
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
