To manage and coordinate the school district's athletic programs in a way that promotes physical fitness and highlights athletics as a valuable extracurricular opportunity. To ensure equitable access for all students to participate and benefit from these programs to provide leadership and strategic direction for the district's athletic initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications Profile
* Certification/License:
Illinois Professional Educator License with a General Administrative Endorsement
* Completion of Teacher Evaluator Modules 1-5 required.
* Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
Education
Bachelor's and Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in related field.
Experience
* Successful experience managing or directing the athletic programs or a school district preferred.
* Successful coaching experience preferred.
* Successful supervisory experience preferred.
Salary/Benefits
1. 12-Month Administrative Position
2. Salary Not less than $100,000
* - Paid twice a month on the 10th and 25th of each month.
3. Sick Leave Benefits:
Fifteen (15) days per year-accumulate to 340.
4. Personal Leave Benefits:
Two (2) days each year.
5. Vacation Benefits:
Twenty-two (22) days each year.
