We’re seeking a dedicated and motivated Civil Engineer with a structural background or strong interest in structural engineering to join our team and contribute to the design of pre‑engineered metal building systems. This opportunity is based in Columbus, Georgia.

In this role, you’ll work closely with detailing teams, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate designs and seamless project execution.

- Technical Analysis – Utilize proprietary software to perform frame, secondary member, bracing, crane, mezzanine, and panel analysis to ensure structural integrity.
- Collaborative Approach – Partner closely with the Detailing Department and other internal teams to communicate design intent and support efficient execution.
- Oversight – Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- Continuous Learning – Grow your engineering skill set by collaborating across departments and contributing to innovative design solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam prior to hire date
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship required)
- Educational focus or coursework in structural engineering
- Basic understanding of building construction methods
- Knowledge of current building codes and industry standards
- Experience with pre‑engineered metal building systems
- Occasional travel and on‑site visits
- Ability to access multi‑level construction sites, including use of construction elevators
- Required use of personal protective equipment (safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hard hats, etc.) while on site
- Flexible schedule, with hours that may occasionally extend beyond standard business hours
