Universal Senior Teller

SIU Credit Union is a strong and growing credit union doing business in southern Illinois. We currently have a full-time opening for a Senior Teller. If you can provide a high level of service to our internal and external members, we would like to hear from you.

About the Role:

As a Senior Teller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of a teller line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Head Teller: Assist in leading the teller team, including scheduling and training.
• Achieve Department Goals: Meet and exceed sales and service targets.
• Ensure Compliance and Security: Maintain a high level of security and adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Manage Financial Operations: Assist with the oversight of cash supplies, order and verify cash, and balance accounts for miscellaneous sales items.
• Provide Member Support: Assist tellers and members with questions, resolve disputes, and handle complex issues.
• Perform Teller Duties: Execute all daily teller functions and maintain necessary records.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months' cash handling experience
• Financial institution knowledge / experience is helpful but not required
