Position Summary:

City Wide Jani Inc. is looking for reliable candidates to fulfill part-time custodian positions for medical facilities in Carbondale, Illinois. Shifts vary between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, Monday through Friday, and some weekends.

• Ensure adherence to OSHA and maximum safety procedures
• Empty trash from all trash receptacles
• Clean and sterilize restrooms and exam rooms
• Clean kitchen/breakroom
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors and carpets
• Dust windowsills, air vents and other surfaces
• Sterilize high-use areas to reduce the spread of bacteria and other harmful agents
• Maintain the grounds surrounding the property
• Perform other duties as delegated by Supervisor
• Secure building upon completion and set alarm
• Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to Operations Manager

• Paid Training
• Rate of pay: $16.00 per hour

• Availability after 6p
• Custodial experience preferred; 1-2 years required
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risk and exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Vehicle required, but not mandatory
