In FY26, researchexpendituresreached $1.35 billion, while research awards totaled $1.54 billion, the highest year in the Institute's history.

This research productivity has propelled

Georgia Tech to advance innovation in artificial intelligence, computing, aerospace, health, energy and advanced manufacturingwhilecontributing an estimated $6.3 billion in annual economic benefit to the State of Georgia.

Philanthropy is accelerating this progress. The Transforming Tomorrow campaign has surpassed $2 billion, including more than $415 million in gifts and commitments in a record fundraising year that is advancing investments in students, faculty, discovery and strategic priorities. As part of this broader $2.2 billion Institute campaign, Georgia Tech Athletics has raised $453 million toward its $500 million goal as of July 31, 2026.

Originally set at $300 million, the athletics goal was increased to $500 million in recognition of the early success and continued momentum of fundraising efforts.

Together, these assets make the Georgia Tech presidency one of the most compelling leadership opportunities in public higher education.
