Shawnee Health is seeking a LPN or RN for our Shawnee Health Same Day Clinic. Shifts are paid at a premium rate and include every Saturday 7:45‑5p, Sunday 10:45‑4pm, Monday 7:30‑7pm. If desired, full‑time hours are available. This position reports directly to the Nurse Manager.

• Communicate with supervisor and other team members during the workday to meet the needs of the patients.
• Follow all clinic policies and procedures for medication and immunization administration, sign out, reconciliation and inventory management.
• Prepare the exam rooms for the patient by setting up any needed equipment and maintain a clean, organized, efficient and confidential work area.
• Greet the patient, escort the patient to the exam room, and verify patient name and date of birth.
• Obtain vital signs, height and weight, allergies, complete medication reconciliation, review of systems, update immunizations and document relevant information by following appropriate EHR workflow for the visit type and alert the provider to any concerns.
• Perform Point of Care Testing and ensure all lab quality measures are maintained.
• Document reportable disease to IDPH in a timely manner.

• Must have a valid Illinois driver’s license and auto liability insurance on personal vehicles.
• Must have a valid Illinois nursing license to practice as a LPN or RN.
• Current BLS certification.
