We are looking for a compassionate, confident, and independent Nurse Practitioner who enjoys building relationships with patients and becoming a trusted healthcare resource within the workplace.
What You'll DoAs the onsite provider, you'll have the opportunity to practice medicine with more time for your patients while making a meaningful impact on employee health.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat occupational injuries and illnesses
- Perform minor office procedures including wound care, suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage
- Conduct DOT/non-DOT physicals (if certified)
- Provide primary care services for employees and eligible dependents
- Perform annual physicals, wellness visits, and preventive care
- Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Develop treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate
- Manage chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia
- Collaborate with employer leadership, safety teams, and case managers on work-related injuries
- Promote employee wellness through health coaching, education, and preventive initiatives
- Support workplace health programs including biometric screenings, hearing conservation, respirator clearances, and wellness campaigns
- Build long-term relationships with your patient population
- Spend more quality time with patients
- Focus on prevention rather than volume
- Work collaboratively with employer leadership to improve workforce health
- Make a measurable impact on employee wellness and injury prevention
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Board Certification (FNP preferred)
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS Certification (ACLS preferred)
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine is highly preferred
- DOT Medical Examiner Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable practicing independently
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Passionate about preventive medicine
- Adaptable and confident in a variety of clinical situations
