American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg
- Surgical Nights position in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active IL RN license.
- Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with a primarily surgical focus and some medical patient overlap
- Unit consists of 35 private patient rooms with two nurses stations
- Night shift schedule
- Every other weekend required
- Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6 on night shift
- Patient care techs available on the unit each shift
- Shift supervisor present on the floor
- 13-week contract
- Active Illinois (IL) RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Adult Med/Surg nursing background required
- Care for primarily surgical patients, with some medical patients as needed based on bed availability
- Manager is open to discussing holiday scheduling requests
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
