Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for floating assignments across multiple units within several hospital facilities. The role involves providing high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with licensure and certification requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans aligned with unit protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols, including certifications.
• Float across units such as CVOR, ICU, PCU, Step Down ICU, and emergency departments as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation of patient care activities and vital signs.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Hold current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrate ability to float across multiple units within scope of practice.
• Show proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
• Be adaptable to various clinical settings and shift hours.
• Possess certifications such as PALS, TNCC, NIHSS as required by specific units.
