First Shift Fabricator B (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
Responsibilities- Maintain each Press according to maintenance procedures and diagnose and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Possess the ability to set up and operate the CNC Press Brake, Mechanical Press Brake and the Whitney Plasma Punch.
- Produce product as described in the shop order, set proper die clearance, proper punch grade and apply proper lubrication.
- Read shop product as described on the shop order.
- Detect when a tool needs to be serviced, set up a tool accordingly and determine and set slide and stripper settings.
- Requires ability to multitask efficiently as required and perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High School graduate or GED.
Experience:
- Trade/vocation certification preferred.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience operating CNC equipment in a manufacturing / industrial environment.
- Ability to read a ruler, tape measure, drawings, micrometer and set calipers.
