Nursery Assistant, Cardiff, £13.85 – £14.50 per hour

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our agency team, supporting a well-established nursery in the Cardiff area. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping staff provide high-quality care and early learning experiences for young children, contributing to their development and well-being.

• Supporting children’s play, learning, and daily routines to create a stimulating and engaging environment
• Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and organised setting that promotes learning and development
• Assisting staff with supervision, meal and snack times, and hygiene routines to ensure children’s health and safety
• Setting up and tidying away activities and resources throughout the day
• Engaging positively with children to encourage confidence, independence, and curiosity

• At least 6 months of UK early years experience, with an understanding of childcare principles and practices
• A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and a passion for early years education
• Ability to work well within a team and follow guidance, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Competitive hourly rate of £13.85 – £14.50, paid weekly
