Nursery Assistant - CF23, Cardiff
Through Teaching Personnel £13.75 per Hour | Weekly Pay | ASAP Start
We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse to work in a friendly and supportive private nursery in the CF23 area of Cardiff. This role will start as soon as vetting is complete and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with early‑years children in a nurturing environment.
The RoleAs a Nursery Nurse, you will:
- Support children aged 1–4 years within a nursery setting
- Assist with play‑based learning activities and structured sessions
- Support early development skills including speech, language, and social interaction
- Work with small groups and provide early‑years interventions where needed
- Support phonics readiness, number recognition, and fine motor skills
- Help with daily routines such as snack time and tidy‑up time
- Encourage positive behaviour and independence
- Support children with a range of learning needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and nursery staff
This role would suit someone who is caring, energetic, and passionate about supporting children in their early stages of learning.
Requirements ✅- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can help you with this)
- EWC registration (or willingness to apply – we can support your application)
- Experience working with young children (nursery or primary school preferred)
- A patient and nurturing approach
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing support from your Teaching Personnel consultant
- Opportunity for a long‑term role
- Support with DBS and EWC applications
- Start available ASAP once vetting is complete

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
