Full Time Hotel Reception Manager
We are looking for a Full Time Hotel Reception Manager at the Park Plaza Cardiff.

The Park Plaza Hotel Cardiff is a successful 4-star deluxe hotel located in the heart of the city. The hotel offers 129 guestrooms, our LKB brasserie style restaurant and bar, a range of event facilities including our Moroccan‑themed Kuku event space and our luxurious Laguna Health & Spa.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- As Reception Manager you will report into the Rooms Division Manager and will be responsible for the front desk team and the day‑to‑day management of the department.
- You will be required to ensure that your team delivers an exceptional welcome and lasting customer service experience, responding to all guest inquiries in a proactive and positive way.
- You will promote a helpful and professional image and be fully focused on achieving the business targets.
- This is a hands‑on role, working alongside your team to inspire, motivate and support them in the delivery of standards and financial targets.
- Ensuring that the hotel meets its forecasted occupancy, room rate and rev‑par targets on a daily basis.
- You will also be required to complete Duty Management shifts on a regular basis.
- Previous related hotel reception experience with a strong knowledge of computerised front office systems.
- Positive approach with excellent organisational ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Strong clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service with the ability to correspond courteously and efficiently with our guests.
- Plays a hands‑on role leading by example, and taking opportunities to motivate, train and inspire the front office team members.
- Good knowledge of Finance and Rooms Revenue Management.
- Has previous experience as a Duty Manager, Reception Manager or similar role in a hotel.
