Housekeeping Supervisor / Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary:

A Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests at all times. This is a zero hours contract at £12.71 per hour.

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards
• Make beds, change linens, and replace used towels and toiletries
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean all surfaces
• Clean bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
• Replenish guest amenities such as soap, shampoo, tea, and coffee
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Handle guest requests politely and efficiently when required
• Ensure trolleys are stocked and cleaning equipment is maintained
• Adhere to daily room targets and deadlines set by management

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays
• Fast-paced environment with daily room targets

• Clean a set number of rooms per shift (usually 8–12 depending on hotel standards and occupancy)
• Maintain quality and hygiene standards at all times
