As Spa Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a world-class wellness experience while leading a high-performing team that embodies Hyatt’s purpose of care.

This position is responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial success of the spa. You will oversee all aspects of the spa operation, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, revenue growth, service innovation, and a culture of wellness and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the spa.
• Develop and implement strategic business, marketing, and promotional plans to maximize revenue, increase market share, and enhance the spa’s reputation.
• Identify emerging wellness trends, new business opportunities, and innovative treatments to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations teams to execute impactful promotional campaigns, media initiatives, and special events.
• Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, promotions, and industry developments to continuously enhance the guest experience.
• Lead all financial aspects of the spa, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost control, and capital expenditure planning.
• Drive operational excellence by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a talented team, fostering a positive, engaging, and high-performance work environment.
• Establish service standards that reflect Hyatt’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences while supporting the hotel’s overall business objectives.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives to elevate satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership to align spa operations with the property’s strategic goals and luxury positioning.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for wellness, hospitality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ senior management experience in a luxury spa, wellness facility, or related hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, developing talent, and building a culture of service excellence.
• Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, financial management, forecasting, and revenue optimisation.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in spa management systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
