A well-established environmental and planning consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join its growing team in Cardiff. In this Senior Ecologist position, you will oversee ecological surveys, prepare technical reports, support habitat and protected species assessments, and contribute to planning and environmental strategies.

Requirements:

Previous consultancy experience in an ecological role
Strong report writing and ecological survey knowledge
Understanding of UK ecological legislation and planning policy

Experience with protected species surveys advantageous
Full UK driving licence
Full right to work in the UK
Degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline
Professional membership with CIEEM desirable
Must live within a commutable distance of the Cardiff office
