About the roleThe Wales Cancer Biobank (based within the School of Medicine, Cardiff University) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the biobank by ensuring clinical data records are captured accurately for anonymised onward use by researchers. The postholder will be required to have daily contact with data from NHS patients related to cancer diagnosis, treatment and outcome. Confidentiality, accurate data collation and data entry are key to the role.
The postholder will be confident in their ability to understand clinical data relating to oncology to ensure WCB data records are robust and fit for purpose.
This post will be based on the Heath Park campus.

ContractThis post is part‑time (28 hours per week), fixed term for two years and available immediately. Work pattern to be agreed at appointment.
Salary: £33,951 - £36,636 pro rata, per annum (Grade 5). Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
