Automatic Door Engineer

Position: Automatic Door Engineer Reports to: Head of Fire and Security Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: £28K-£35K

The Automatic Door Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of a range of automatic door systems in line with industry regulations, safety standards, and client specifications. This position requires strong technical knowledge, effective problem-solving skills, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

• Install, service, and repair automatic door systems, including sliding, swing, revolving, and specialist access doors.
• Diagnose faults and carry out prompt, effective repairs to minimise customer downtime.
• Conduct preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines and BS EN 16005 standards.
• Perform safety checks, adjustments, and system testing to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide on-site technical advice and support to clients.
• Accurately complete all documentation, including service reports and parts usage logs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, both on client sites and within company vehicles.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and relevant legal requirements.
