Van Technician

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our Automotive Commercial Vehicle dealership Client for a LCV Technician / Van Technician based in the Cardiff area.

• Basic salary up to £30-38,200 per annum, depending on experience.
• Access to a performance-related bonus scheme worth around £2-3,000 per annum.
• 22 days annual holiday allowance plus the 8 bank holidays.
• Overtime, subject to availability, paid at time and a half.

• Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:15pm.
• Currently no weekends, but will be reopening these in the coming months, and will be 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8:30am-12:30pm, paid additionally at time and a half.

• General Servicing
• Repair of Vehicle Defects
• MOT preparation and repair work
• Vehicle Inspection
• Completion of associated paperwork
• Diagnostics

• Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a LCV Technician / Van Technician
• Working experience within a busy LCV Workshop
• Have an up-to-date knowledge of current repair methods
• Driving Licence is Essential.

The salary of this Van Technician position is £38,200 basic with OTE of £41,200.
