Location: Southampton
Salary: £38,000 to £44,000 basic per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Trailer Fitter to join a market-leading commercial vehicle company in Southampton. Whether your background is in full vehicle maintenance or trailer-specific servicing, this is a great opportunity to join a stable, well-equipped team with excellent training and long-term opportunities.

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs on HGV trailers
• Diagnose faults using EBS systems including WABCO, HALDEX and KNORR BREMSE
• Complete all documentation and service records accurately and promptly
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and support excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant workshop environment
• Attend training including IRTEC, tail lift, axle and brake system courses

• Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, Trailer Technician, or HGV Fitter

• HGV Class 1 licence
• IRTEC accreditation
• Strong diagnostics experience with HALDEX, WABCO, KNORR BREMSE
• Welding certification
• Experience with BPW, SAF, or JOST axles
• Tail lift and double deck trailer servicing experience
