About the Rolegap personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and skilled Handyman to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional looking for consistent work within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities to ensure a safe and well‑maintained workplace.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general maintenance and repair work
- Complete basic plumbing, painting, carpentry, and decorating tasks
- Repair fixtures, fittings, doors, and minor building defects
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Support site teams with ad-hoc maintenance duties as required
- Previous experience in a Handyman or Maintenance role
- Good practical skills across multiple trades
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Experience with in commercial, industrial, or warehouse environments
- Full UK Driving Licence
- £16.00 per hour
- Temporary ongoing work
