Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Somerset
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team delivering services across a secure commercial contract in Yeovil. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for stability, progression, and long-term work.

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing commercial gas and heating systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing, repairs, and installation of commercial gas systems
- Carrying out plumbing and heating maintenance duties
- Issuing gas safety certificates and compliance documentation
- Ensuring adherence to manufacturer guidelines
- Updating service and testing records
- Ordering materials through approved systems
- Participating in an on-call rota for emergency cover
- Maintaining company vehicle standards
- Liaising with supervisors and coordinators
- Keeping accurate records of completed work
- Qualified Commercial Gas Engineer (relevant certifications required)
- Experience with in commercial environments
- Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Experience with renewable systems (e.g. air/ground source heat pumps)
