Up to £45,000 depending on Experience

Up to £55,000

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am - 1:00pm

Are you an experienced Diagnostic Technician looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Technician to join their successful and growing workshop team. This role would suit a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician who thrives on identifying and resolving complex electrical and mechanical faults and takes pride in delivering first‑time fixes.

• Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults
• Carry out advanced fault finding using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment
• Utilise oscilloscopes, multimeters, and specialist testing equipment where required
• Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose engine management, drivability, and electrical system faults
• Carry out repairs including cambelts, timing chains, clutch replacements and major mechanical work
• Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements
• Complete road tests, calibrations and quality control inspections
• Accurately complete job cards, service records and warranty documentation
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and right first time
• Maintain high levels of workshop productivity and technical excellence

• Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability
• Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and software
• Electrical diagnostic experience highly advantageous
• Passion for technical problem solving and continuous development
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
