Air Conditioning Engineer

DS Refrigeration is a leading supplier, installer and service provider of commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and catering equipment across Northern Ireland and beyond. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our expanding team.

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial air conditioning systems across a wide range of customer sites.

Working with hotels, offices, retail stores, restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities and industrial premises, you'll ensure customers receive reliable, energy-efficient climate control solutions.

No two days are the same, with a mix of planned maintenance, new installations, reactive repairs and system upgrades.

• Install, service and maintain commercial air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
• Commission new air conditioning installations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
• Complete service reports and installation documentation accurately.
• Advise customers on equipment performance and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure all work complies with current health & safety regulations.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on every job.
• Represent DS Refrigeration to the highest standard.

• F-Gas Certification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience working with commercial air conditioning systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with split systems, multi-split, VRF/VRV and packaged air conditioning units.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• CSR Card.
• Experience with ventilation and heat pump systems.
• Electrical fault-finding experience.
• Manufacturer training or certifications.
