Qualified Roofer - Solar PV Projects (Non‑ECO Work)
Location:
South Wales
Salary: £35-42,000 + performance bonus
Employment Type:
Full‑time, Permanent
UnifyHQ are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Roofer to join a well‑established renewables team delivering high‑quality, non‑ECO Solar PV installations across South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled roofer who takes pride in their workmanship and wants consistent, well‑planned work within a professional and supportive environment. Individual roofers and established roofing teams with Solar PV experience are welcome to apply.
The Role- Roofing works associated with Solar PV installations
- Installing and making good Solar PV mounting systems
- Working across a range of roof types including slate, concrete, clay, flat and pitched
- Ensuring all penetrations are sealed correctly and roofs are left fully weatherproof
- Identifying and reporting roof defects before installation
- Working closely with electricians and project teams on site
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety, including working at height
- Ensuring all work meets manufacturer guidance and company quality standards
- Proven experience as a Roofer
- Demonstrable experience working on Solar PV installations
- Strong knowledge of roof structures and weatherproofing
- Experience across multiple roof types
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of working at height and site health and safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card
- PASMA / Working at Height training
- Experience working alongside electricians on renewables projects
- Established roofing team or mate available
- £35-42,000 basic salary
