Qualified Roofer - Solar PV Projects (Non‑ECO Work)

UnifyHQ are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Roofer to join a well‑established renewables team delivering high‑quality, non‑ECO Solar PV installations across South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled roofer who takes pride in their workmanship and wants consistent, well‑planned work within a professional and supportive environment. Individual roofers and established roofing teams with Solar PV experience are welcome to apply.

• Roofing works associated with Solar PV installations
• Installing and making good Solar PV mounting systems
• Working across a range of roof types including slate, concrete, clay, flat and pitched
• Ensuring all penetrations are sealed correctly and roofs are left fully weatherproof
• Identifying and reporting roof defects before installation
• Working closely with electricians and project teams on site
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, including working at height
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer guidance and company quality standards

• Proven experience as a Roofer
• Demonstrable experience working on Solar PV installations
• Strong knowledge of roof structures and weatherproofing
• Experience across multiple roof types
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of working at height and site health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

• CSCS card
• PASMA / Working at Height training
• Experience working alongside electricians on renewables projects
• Established roofing team or mate available

• £35-42,000 basic salary
