We are hiring an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our highly respected main dealership team in Cardiff. If you want a secure weekday role backed by official manufacturer support, state-of-the-art factory tooling, premium brand training, and industry-leading holiday, we offer a £35,000–£40,000 basic salary, permanent Monday-to-Friday hours (08:00–17:00, no weekends), and a proper technician-first culture.
The Rewards- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Positioned directly within our standard bracket depending on experience).

Your RoleAs a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our main dealer workshop, you will:
- Carry out routine servicing
, manufacturer safety inspections, and complex warranty and mechanical repairs. - Use high-spec factory diagnostic tools and software to systematically troubleshoot and resolve technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Follow structured brand processes to maintain high-quality, safe "first-time fix" results.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of main dealer technicians to keep the workshop running smoothly to franchise standards.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance with proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it). - Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. - Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools for daily workshop repair tasks.

Situated in Cardiff, our facility offers a straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Newport, Penarth, Barry, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Bridgend, Cwmbran, and the surrounding South Wales region.
