Assisting refit and repair team to deliver projects of high quality small and large.

Boat Yard Tasks as Directed

Negotiable and market facing

The following are the main duties of the role

• Colour Matching
• Laminating
• Small Mould Fabrication
• Sanding, fairing, and polishing
• Brush, roller and spray application

• New navigation system installs
• NMEA integration
• Systems such as chargers, pumps, bow thrusters etc
• Full re-wires
• Fault finding
• Flexi Teek and teak decking fabrication and install
• Plug making for GRP and FRP moulds
• Interior fit out and cabinet making
• Surface preparation
• Cutting of fibres and core materials
• Wet lay and vacuum bagging
• Boat building and small parts
• Follow laminate schedule
• Ensuring workshop is clean and tidy
• Adhering to Health and Safety protocols
• Keeping managers informed of broken or missing equipment
• Stock control and tool maintenance
• Moving boats as directed
• Quality control General
• Supporting other team members as required
• Administration e.g. completing timesheets

• Knowledge sharing and upskilling other team members
• Training as required by the role
• Other tasks reasonably within the scope of the role
• Support communication and promotion with clients and contracted authorities
