We are hiring an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our highly respected team in Cardiff. The Rewards- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Tailored directly to your technical experience and skill level).

Your RoleWorking as a core member of our technical team in Cardiff, you will:
- Carry out routine servicing
, safety inspections, and general mechanical repairs across a wide variety of makes and models. - Utilize high-spec diagnostic tools and software to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Deliver high-quality first-time fix results while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
- Work productively to keep the workshop running smoothly in a well‑organized environment.
- Collaborate productively with fellow mechanics to maintain a clean, friendly, and safety‑first workshop.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time‑served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Proven workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it). - Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. - Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools for daily repair and servicing tasks. Motivated, dedicated, and highly organized professional with a strong team mindset and keen attention to detail.
Our modern facility is based in Cardiff and is ideally situated for a quick and straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Newport, Penarth, Barry, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Bridgend, Cwmbran, and the surrounding South Wales areas.
