Electrician - Long-Term Reactive Maintenance Care Homes | South Wales | Long-Term Work
ITS Construction are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join a long-term reactive maintenance contract, carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance across care homes throughout South Wales.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and skilled electrician looking for consistent, long-term work with plenty of hours available.
The RoleYou will be responsible for attending care homes to diagnose and resolve electrical faults, complete repairs and carry out general electrical maintenance.
- Reactive fault finding and electrical repairs
- Maintenance of lighting and power systems
- Testing, inspection and remedial works
- Emergency call-outs when required
- Diagnosing electrical faults and providing effective solutions
- Completing maintenance reports and paperwork
- Working safely within occupied care environments
- Liaising professionally with clients, site staff and management
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification
- Previous electrical maintenance experience
- Experience with reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant testing and inspection experience desirable
- ECS/JIB card desirable
- Fully qualified and experienced
- Confident carrying out reactive maintenance and fault finding
- Reliable and professional
- Comfortable working independently
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Comfortable working within care homes and occupied premises
- Committed to high standards of workmanship and safety
- Long-term, consistent work
