Parts Route Driver

Summary:

Operates under the supervision of the Parts Manager and is primarily responsible for delivering products locally to other locations. Employees may also be responsible for operating a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, or other equipment necessary for loading and/or unloading.

• Deliver products locally (within the state of Louisiana) to various company branch locations
• Load, Unload and Sort product by operating a forklift, pallet jack, dolly and other equipment as required depending on the product
• Keep a clean and orderly vehicle at all times
• Operate a vehicle and other machinery in a safe and reliable way
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Must have a Valid Chauffeurs License
• 2-3 years of Forklift Experience Required
• Must have the ability to pass our insurance requirements on the Motor Vehicle Report

The Employee will be exposed to moving parts, grease, chemicals, dust, dirt and the elements. Lifting 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. This position will require driving for prolonged hours and in some cases up to 80% of the time.

All company vehicles are equipped with front and rear facing cameras for your protection.
