Behavioral Health Administrative Support Specialist

Root & Rise Psychotherapy, Caribou, ME

$18.00 – $23.00 per hour | Full-time or Part-time (30–40 hrs./week) location Caribou, Maine

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome and support new clients by scheduling appointments and completing intake registration
  • Verify insurance coverage and help clients understand their benefits
  • Support clinicians with day‑to‑day administrative tasks that keep care running smoothly
  • Track and follow up on insurance claims, including resolving denials and unpaid balances
  • Communicate with insurance companies to ensure accurate, timely reimbursement
What You Bring
  • Experience in a medical or behavioral health office (billing, coding, or credentialing a plus)
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear, professional communication and a team‑oriented mindset
  • Commitment to confidentiality and client‑centered care
