Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time (36 Hours/Week)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position offers a consistent 36-hour work week with a mix of day and night shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays.

Schedule
  • Two (2) 12-hour day shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    • One shift in a Charge Nurse role
    • One shift in a Treatment Nurse role
  • One (1) 12-hour night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
    • Charge Nurse role
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans, policies, and best practices
  • Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff on assigned shift
  • Coordinate and delegate assignments to ensure appropriate staffing and workload distribution
  • Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered
  • Communicate effectively with providers, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided
  • Promote a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions
  • Address concerns, incidents, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • Support compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies
  • Serve as a role model and resource to staff, fostering a positive team environment
Requirements
  • Current, active RN license in the State of Maine
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisors
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Basic computer skills
