As an RN Supervisor, you will provide clinical leadership and administrative oversight for the Residential Care Unit while ensuring exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance. The RN Supervisor partners closely with nursing leadership to support staff, promote best practices, and maintain the highest standards of care.
This Registered Nurse position is a full-time, Monday-Friday day shift with no rotating schedule.
ResponsibilitiesAs an RN Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise and support nursing staff on the Residential Care Unit.
- Coach, mentor, and develop nurses and nursing assistants.
- Monitor and ensure high-quality resident care.
- Respond to changes in resident condition and provide clinical guidance.
- Review documentation, physician orders, medications, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, VA, and facility regulations.
- Assist with staffing coordination and daily nursing operations.
- Investigate incidents, complete reports, and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide outstanding resident-centered care.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive work environment.
- Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Three to five years of nursing experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Passion for serving veterans and older adults.
