About the Role:
As a Charge Nurse at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care in a warm and homelike environment. Your duties will include:
Leadership: Lead a team of RNs, LPNs, and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) in providing high-quality patient care, implementing evidence-based practices, and promoting a positive work environment.
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, conducting initial assessments, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Communication: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing
Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
Certification: BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.
