Flooring Selections Specialist

Home Imagined is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Flooring Selections Specialist to join our showroom team. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for flooring and design and enjoys helping customers find the right products for their homes and projects. The Flooring Selections Specialist will work directly with homeowners, contractors, and designers to help guide flooring selections from initial product exploration through ordering.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to understand the practical considerations of different flooring products.

Position Details

• Full-time: 40 hrs/week
• Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• In-showroom position

Qualifications

• Flooring, interior design, sales, or product selection experience and knowledge is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent customer service
• Ability to confidently work with homeowners, contractors, and design professionals
• Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook, experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced showroom environment

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome homeowners, contractors, and designers and provide knowledgeable, personalized showroom experience
• Guide customers through flooring selections based on their style, budget, lifestyle, project needs, and installation requirements
• Help customers compare flooring options including carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, tile, and other flooring products
• Communicate with flooring vendors regarding samples, product information, availability, orders, and lead times
• Stay informed about new flooring products, trends, technologies, and installation options
• Maintain organized flooring displays, sample inventory, and showroom presentation
• Assist with general showroom operations and collaborate with sales, design, and operations teams
