Children's Administrative Case Manager

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:30 PM

Earn $20.38/hour

The Children's Administrative Case Manager provides comprehensive case management and administrative support to children with mental and behavioral health needs and their families. This role coordinates access to services, monitors care delivery, and advocates for appropriate resources while ensuring compliance with organizational, county, state, and federal requirements. The position plays a critical role in supporting positive outcomes through collaboration, documentation, and service coordination within the Base Services Unit (BSU).

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process intake referrals, ensuring timely access to appropriate services
  • Deliver case management services, including assessment, resource linkage, advocacy, and support for children and families
  • Obtain and manage authorizations for behavioral health and related services
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, including case records, correspondence, and required reports
  • Monitor service delivery through review of treatment plans, evaluations, and provider documentation
  • Collaborate with families, schools, providers, and community stakeholders to support client needs
  • Assist clients in accessing benefits (e.g., Social Security, disability programs) and verify eligibility
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards, confidentiality requirements, and organizational policies
  • Participate in meetings, supervision, quality improvement activities, and ongoing professional development

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the human services field preferred.
  • Active, valid driver's license required.
