Who are you?

You’ve earned a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have experience working on HGVs or completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry. You should have technical and practical competency in repair and maintenance of HGVs, be able to communicate effectively at all levels both written and verbal, be adaptable to new processes, and participate in training and development activities.

You will be an active member of a busy team and competent to develop new working processes or enhance current ones.

What will you do?

As an HGV technician, you will join our Service & Workshop team at the Volvo Truck and Bus Centre. You will ensure repairs are carried out according to Volvo’s Standards. You will work on a range of systems including alternative fuels such as LNG, hybrid and full electric vehicles.

  • Servicing, maintenance & repairs on a range of HGVs
  • Diagnostics & fault finding
  • MOT preparation & inspections
  • Ensuring all work meets safety standards
  • Working as part of a professional, friendly team
