* Job summary:

** An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration and Air  Conditioning Engineer to join our team based at Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, Cumbria.

This is a mobile role covering
** Cumbria
* * and
** Southwest Scotland**.The successful candidate will attend customer sites to carry out reactive call-outs, installations, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works as required.

You will work on a wide range of
** refrigeration
* * and
** air conditioning equipment
** from various manufacturers, supporting a number of high-profile customers across the hospitality, education, food, and manufacturing sectors.
** What you will do
*** Carry out installations of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment    in line with customer specifications.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
* Complete routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.
* Produce condition reports, identifying and documenting any remedial works required.
* Ensure all refrigeration systems comply with relevant industry standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements.
* Maintain accurate documentation for all work undertaken.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
* Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
** What you will bring
*** The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the refrigeration and HVAC industry.
* Proven experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning service, maintenance, and installation.
* A current F-Gas certification.
* A full, clean UK driving licence.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* The ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* A flexible approach to work, including participation in the on-call rota.
** What we offer
*** On-call/standby payment when on rota. Currently 1 in 6 weeks, with a standby payment of £250 per week.
