Multi Trade Engineer- Joiner

We require a Joiner to join our well-established team, supporting planned, reactive and project-led joinery works across fit out projects on LLED sites.

You will be expected to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team. With a proactive outlook and ability to work safely at all times, successful candidates will also possess effective communication skills with the ability to communicate verbally with colleagues and client representatives, providing a professional service that meets our clients’ requirements. It is also vital that any applicants are conversant with current regulations and standards and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.

As a Joiner , you must be a strong team player with a positive and flexible attitude. You will be expected to work safely and professionally, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with site procedures, drawings, specifications and client requirements.

You are expected to be part of an “On-call Rota” system you will be on call 24/7 from a Friday-Friday once in as little as every 4 weeks where you will get a retainer fee and enhanced rates for working out of hours.

You will be mostly doing your core trade but there will be times where you be expected to turn your hand to other trades via our Job Management system.

• Recognised joinery qualification, such as SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety card
• Relevant experience working in commercial, industrial or healthcare environments

• Carry out planned and reactive joinery works across LLED sites
• Install, repair and maintain doors, frames, ironmongery, partitions, ceilings, fixtures, fittings and other joinery elements
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions to complete works accurately
• Work in line with health and safety procedures, site rules and client requirements
• Complete accurate records, job reports and documentation as require

• Strong practical joinery, installation, maintenance and repair skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a wider team
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
• Good communication and customer service skills, particularly in live commercial environments

• Advanced or time-served joinery qualification, such as SVQ/NVQ in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent
• Full valid UK driving licence
• Experience working in occupied commercial buildings or other sensitive environments
• Ability to follow safe systems of work, permit requirements and site-specific procedures
• Full valid UK driving licence
• Industry recognised joinery trade qualification or time-served experience
• Demonstrable experience delivering high-quality joinery works in fast-paced, client-facing environments
• Willingness to work across LLED sites
