In this varied position, you will cover sites across Cumbria, carrying out commercial planned and reactive maintenance, small to medium commercial installations, and a small proportion of domestic maintenance tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across commercial properties and estate portfolios.
* Execute small to mid-scale commercial installation works, containment, and wiring upgrades.
* Perform routine fault-finding, testing, inspection, and rectification.
* Complete minor domestic electrical repairs across local residential properties as required.
* Participate in a manageable standby/call-out rota to support key commercial client contracts.
* Maintain accurate digital job sheets, certification, and compliance records.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
* Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or City & Guilds equivalent) + AM2.
* Regulations: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
* Testing:
City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing is highly desirable.
* Experience:
Proven track record in commercial maintenance and installation work.
* Licence:
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* Location:
Based in or near Carlisle, with flexibility to cover client sites across Cumbria.

* Competitive Pay: £18.00 – £21.00 per hour (£37,440 – £43,680 basic per annum depending on experience).
