Senior Staff Accountant

A growing CPA firm is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant who will manage accounting, tax, and advisory responsibilities for assigned clients.

• Execute month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules on a monthly basis
• Assist with individual and business tax return preparation
• Support tax planning initiatives and respond to tax-related inquiries
• Manage cash activity, bill payments, and account monitoring
• Review financial results, identify variances, and flag issues or trends
• Provide financial information and analysis as needed
• Contribute to internal process improvements and accounting system enhancements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA, or actively pursuing CPA licensure
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience a plus
• Prior experience preparing tax returns
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP principles
• Proficiency with Quick Books

$80,000–$95,000 + bonus

• Hybrid work environment (2–3 days from home)
