The Accounts Payable Specialist oversees the full AP function for a U.S. headquarters and multiple international subsidiaries. The role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, expense reimbursements, and month-end close activities while maintaining strong internal controls and vendor relationships.

• Process invoices and payments across U.S. and international entities, ensuring proper approvals prior to payment.
• Review and select invoices for weekly payment runs based on terms and cash flow priorities.
• Initiate and process ACH and wire transactions accurately and on time.
• Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including onboarding, record maintenance, and updates to banking/contact details.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, payment status, and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate and compliant vendor records, including W-9 collection and 1099 support.
• Review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance; ensure proper documentation.
• Process weekly employee reimbursements.
• Prepare journal entries related to corporate credit card activity.
• Support month-end close by preparing AP-related journal entries and reconciliations.
• Process monthly sales commissions accurately and on time.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounts payable experience.

• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, SUMIFS).
• Experience with ERP systems and strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close processes.
• Familiarity with systems such as Wells Fargo CEO, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics AX, or similar platforms.
• Experience with in a consumer goods or direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment.

The salary range for this position is $27-$30 per hour. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses. This range is set to reflect a wide array of factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certification, office location, and other business and organizational needs.
