About The Role
Sayva Solutions is partnering with a large, publicly traded organization to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant. This individual will play a key role within a high‑volume corporate accounting function, owning critical balance sheet areas, supporting month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, and partnering cross‑functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on corporate accountant who can independently manage journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables while applying strong GAAP knowledge and a process‑improvement mindset.
Salary: $103,000 – $115,000. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
Primary Responsibilities- Own assigned balance sheet accounts and related accounting processes
- Perform full‑cycle general ledger accounting, including preparation and posting of journal entries
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities in a deadline‑driven environment
- Apply GAAP knowledge and perform accounting research to support accounting conclusions
- Support compliance, reporting, and audit‑related activities across the accounting function
- Prepare supporting schedules, documentation, and responses for internal and external information requests
- Perform financial analyses and calculations to support accounting conclusions and reporting requirements
- Assist with audit inquiries by providing requested documentation and responding to follow‑up questions
- Identify process inefficiencies, compliance risks, and opportunities to strengthen controls and procedures
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, HR, and other business partners to support accounting operations, reporting requirements, and process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience, preferably within a publicly traded company environment
- Strong, hands‑on GAAP foundation with experience in general ledger accounting responsibilities
- Experience working in large organizations and ERP environments with tight reporting deadlines
- Comfortable in a high‑volume environment with complex reconciliations and strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage time effectively
- Process‑improvement mindset with a strong sense of accountability and follow‑through
- CPA or CPA‑track preferred
