Accounting Manager
An established life sciences company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations while mentoring a high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and partner with executive leadership on strategic financial initiatives.

Accounting Leadership- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Coordinate annual audits and support external auditors
- Manage the general ledger and financial reporting process
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Partner with department leaders on financial analysis and business planning
- Support ERP implementations and process improvement initiatives
